AUTHOR JORGE ARGUETA AT THE CHILDREN’S LIBRARY

Last weekend, Salvadoran children’s author Jorge Argueta launched ConTextos’ monthly events at the Children’s Library in Santa Tecla. Sponsored in collaboration with the US Embassy, Argueta offered workshops on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, 25 teachers from ConTextos schools learned didactic strategies to incorporate

and motivate creative writing in kids. On Sunday, 25 people attended a reading and arts workshop based on Argueta’s newest book «Guacamole, a Cooking Poem».
